Why Custom Made

• Each piece is made-to-order and hand-made by a master craftsman Carl A. Chiaramonte.

• We use no veneers, particle board or plywood.

• Each piece of face wood and secondary wood is solid American hardwood.

• Old glass, classic mortise and tenon joinery and hand-cut dovetail are standards of construction.

•  All Carvings are done by hand, not machined. 

•  Woods we use include, Poplar, Cherry, Oak, Walnut, Mahogany and Curly Maple (also called Tiger Maple)

• Standard finishes include regular paint or stained color and lacquer topcoat. Options include: Normal age and wear - standard paints and stains. "Old Paint" - heavily worn, chipped and cracked painted finish. Hand-rubbed natural oil.

 We can help you design your furniture to your own specifications!  Provide us with a sketch (include dimensions) or bring your ideas to the shop and we will work with you.  A $50 fee is required for design service which is credited toward your purchase. 

 A 50 % deposit at the time of order.  The balance is due in full (plus any shipping charges) upon completion.
